The Bernadette Gonzaque Robert Center for Inclusive Excellence serves as the heart of Inclusive Excellence work at the Mount. Through campus‑wide programming, education, and advocacy, the Center fosters a culture of belonging, respect, and engagement.

From workshops and speakers to cultural celebrations and collaborative initiatives, the Robert Center for Inclusive Excellence helps cultivate an environment where differences are embraced as strengths, and where inclusive values prepare students to lead with empathy and integrity in a global society.

Inclusive Excellence Leadership Scholars Program 🌟
Since its founding 100 years ago, a core value of Mount Saint Mary’s University has been to foster a sense of belonging among our students, faculty, staff, and community. To this end, the Inclusive Excellence Leadership Scholars Program equips Mount students from various backgrounds with the knowledge, capacities, and curiosities to affect positive social change on our campus and within the local community.

Inclusive Excellence Scholars are empowered not only to persist and excel academically, but also to become confident leaders and change‑makers. Through personalized guidance and intentional programming, students build the skills, networks, and sense of belonging that are essential for long‑term success.
