Thank you for supporting Mount Day of Giving! While this year's campaign has closed, you can still make a gift to support Mount Saint Mary's University at msmu.edu/donate.
Cheryl Mabey Leadership Scholarship
Empowering women to be strong, educated leaders in their communities has been at the core of Mount Saint Mary’s mission since our founding. Now, 50 years after the establishment of our formal Women’s Leadership Program – one of the first of its kind at the time – we remain committed to providing our students with unrivaled opportunities to engage in leadership activities.
Today, our Leadership Scholars Program offers first- and second-year students the chance to develop comprehensive leadership skills in a cohort of their peers. The participation of many students in these opportunities is made solely possible by scholarship support, including gifts made to the Cheryl Mabey Leadership Scholarship.
Who was Cheryl Mabey?
Cheryl Mabey-Rubensaal graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s in 1969 and later returned to the Mount at age 26 as the youngest Dean of Students in our history. Cheryl served as the Executive Director of the Women’s Leadership Program from 1977 – 1999, indelibly shaping leadership education at the Mount.
Make you gift to the Cheryl Mabey Leadership Scholarship today to empower our students to become the next generation of unstoppable leaders in their communities.
