At Mount Saint Mary's University we believe that everyone should have equal access to education. Woven into the fabric of who we are is the belief that all of our students deserve equal opportunities when attending the Mount and the ability to focus on their learning and growth without fears of how to pay their tuition. 2020 has brought a list of unique and unprecedent challenges for our students, but our promise to support them in their educational excellence has not wavered. The Mount is unstoppable! On this #GivingTuesday we hope that you will join us in helping to fulfill that promise.

Our goal? Reach 50 donors by 11:59 p.m. on December 1, 2020. 50 donors in 24 hours to support scholarships at MSMU.

Through you and your unstoppable support we can ensure that all students have what they need to start and continue their education at the Mount. Nearly 500 undergraduate students rely on the support of scholarships at the Mount. Your gift to any scholarship will have an immediate impact on a student who is in need of your support. A donation of any size provides our students with the help they need to become unstoppable and have the best Mount experience possible!

🙌The President's Expendable Scholarship 🙌 Talented students sometimes experience extraordinary odds that require additional resources in a timely fashion. Your support to this fund will help any students who are in need of tuition assistance in any major or any class year.

🙌 The Latina Alumnae Network Expendable Scholarship 🙌 This fund was established in memory of Celia Margaret Gonzales Torres ’58. This expendable fund provides scholarship support for Latin American students in their junior and senior year at the Mount.

🙌 The Endowment for the Advancement of African Americans in Science and Technology 🙌 Established in 1991, this scholarship fund has grown to over $100,000 and supports juniors and seniors enrolled in a STEM major. Gifts of any amount are accepted to this fund.

🙌 The Sr. Callista Roy Nursing Scholarship 🙌 In commemoration of the 70^th anniversary of the Mount’s nursing program and the many contributions to its success by Sister Callista Roy this fund was established in 2019 to provide scholarships to nursing students at MSMU.

🙌 The COVID-19 Relief Fund 🙌 Students at the Mount are not only unstoppable, but resilient. However, due to the pandemic and economic downturn, a large portion of our student body and their families have been disproportionately impacted. Gifts to the COVID-19 Relief Fund will support students in need by providing the students with extra scholarship support, loaner laptops, mobile WiFi hotspots and extra money for books, among other things.
